The Kelly Anne Dolan Memorial Fund provides advocacy, education, information and financial assistance for the uninsured needs of families caring for terminally, critically and chronically ill, seriously disabled or severely injured children.

By working directly with healthcare professionals social workers, case managers, nurses and therapists throughout PA, NJ and DE, patients and their families needs are made known to the Fund through a simple application process.  Requests for assistance are generally handled within 24 to 72 hours in the form of payments to creditors for bills or the donation of goods. This simple method of operation assures eligibility for assistance and avoids the misappropriation of funds.

The Christmas Unlimited method of distributing gifts is what sets it apart from other holiday programs.  The process includes the following elements:
  • Applications for assistance are distributed by over sixty community service agencies in El Paso and Teller counties
  • Clients select a day and time they can be at the Distribution Center
  • An Invitation is sent to each family confirming their shopping appointment
  • We ask clients to not bring their children to the Distribution Center
  • The Distribution Center is set-up like a retail store
    - Volunteers assume retail store jobs
    - Gift items have a price tag (although there is no charge)
    - Parents are issued a "shopping pass" giving them points to "spend" as they would   dollars
    - The total number of points is determined by the number of children
    - At check-out clients receive a stuffed toy, a book, stocking stuffers, and other items  as

CHOICES: CHOICES is an advocacy program for victims of domestic violence, and they run a temporary shelter for those women and their children. Christmas is a difficult time for a mother to be in a domestic violence shelter with her children. 614-224-7200

The United States Marine Corps helps operate a wonderful charity called Toys for Tots. With its connection to the Marines, you know the group is run with the highest level of integrity and organization. 

There is a chapter in  New Orleans and one on the suburban West Bank, across the river from New Orleans.

I live in New Jersey and I wanted to see if anyone can help me by donating my little brothers and sisters and baby get at least a gift for christmas. Unfortunely my mother is unable to afford any gifts at all for us this year and more likely because there's a lot of us. It's too late to sign up for toys-for-tots, so therefore we don't know where else to go for help. I have one 23 month old boy and there's 2 eleven year old boys, 1 seven year old boy and a 9 year old girl. It doesn't matter if I don't get anything I just want my baby and my little brothers to have at least something. Please anything is appreciated.

I'm a single mother of three asking for help to give my boys a merry Christmas. I have a job but after the bills and rent is paid little is left. I can afford a tree but that's about it. I live in the New Orleans area. I love my kids and want to see them happy for Christmas.

Hi my name is Dee i am the single proud mother of twin four year old boys. In the past I have went to the local Salvation Army to receive help at christmas time, but this year i have a part time job and figured I wouldn't ask for help this year. I knew i had at least two more paychecks coming before christmas and i could go out and do some shopping, then I was just told monday that Wednesday would be my last day of work for a week to a week and a half. Now i'm stuck in a bind and have no ideal what i'm going to do for christmas and my boys are now at the age they are telling me what they want and all I can say is we'll see if santa will bring you that. I tried the Salvation Army but they don't take late sign ups. Does anyone have any ideas on what I can do help me please. I live in the Shelby county area in Ohio

I moved to trenton, nj in Febuary and havent been able to find a job, or recieve any govt. Benefits. I have a an 11 month old daughter and a 7 yr old son that i would love to give at least 1 gift each tp. Toys for totstots in my area is no longer accepting applications. Does amybody know of any other charities that could help with food and toys? Any help would be much appreciated.

I am looking for help for Christmas and even food donations for a family with a three year old boy and a six year old girl. Father and grandmother have both lost their jobs. They live in Pike County, Ga. If anyone is able to help please let me know. They'd both love jobs if anyone knows of those too.

I am searching for some kind of charity organization in or around Fulton MS for my 10 year old son for Christmas. I have never been in this position before 2009. I lost my job and have since been working on a computer programming degree. I have been a widow since 2003 and did okay for myself until the loss of my job. My son wants a bicycle for Christmas, I don't see being able to get a tree, much less a bike!! Time are VERY hard....

Hey, greetings from WV. Thanks for the info, hope it can help. I've been a wreck for over a month worrying about how we are going to put anything under the tree for our 3 kids. Hubby lost his job due to aggency closing, we've been borrowing money from my mom just to keep our heads above water, and there's no way she can afford to help with Christmas. Desperately hoping we find some help, soon.
